Minister Amongi accords Uganda Shillings 20M to Anai Parish: A Gesture of Faith and Community Empowerment

In a remarkable act of generosity and commitment to community development, Hon. Betty Amongi has made a cash boost of 10m to support women projects under the umbrella of Women Guild while pledging 10m to support the church interior ware of St. Peters Anai Catholic Parish. 

The contribution is set to support various church projects, improve social services, and uplift the lives of parishioners.

Speaking during the handover ceremony, Minister Amongi emphasized the importance of faith-driven development and collective responsibility in transforming communities. 

The donation comes as a beacon of hope, reinforcing the power of unity, generosity, and service to others.The 20 million package was accorded to elevate the projects of the Women Guild (10m), and the other 10m to support the purchase of church materials.

The leadership of Anai Parish expressed profound gratitude, acknowledging the minister’s unwavering dedication to the spiritual and socio-economic growth of the region. The funds will be channeled into key initiatives that will benefit the congregation and surrounding communities.
