RDC Calls for Support of NRM Government for Continued Development

Dokolo District's Resident District Commissioner, Barbara Akech, has urged residents of the Lango sub-region to support the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party to sustain development and maintain peace.

Akech made the appeal during the commissioning of ten boreholes at Okwongodul Seed Secondary School in Okwongodul Sub-county. She highlighted various government projects aimed at promoting community welfare and emphasized the importance of peace and security for development.

James Otoo Apili, the LCV Chairperson of Dokolo District, commended Hon. Felix Okot Ogong for his contributions to infrastructural development, health, education, and agriculture, which have improved livelihoods in the district.

Joan Bua, the Secretary for Works and Technical Services and Female LCV Councilor of Amwoma Sub-county, appealed to the people of Dokolo to support the government for better service delivery.

Hon. Felix Okot Ogong, the Member of Parliament for Dokolo South Constituency, cautioned district stakeholders against unnecessary transfers of teachers without replacements, which he believes affect educational performance. He also praised the district for its accountability and transparency in managing government projects.
