RDC of Dokolo Urges Public to Verify Voter Registration Details Ahead of 2026 Elections

Babra Akech, the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) of Dokolo, has urged the public to check their names in the National Residence Movement (NRM) voter register to ensure they are correctly listed ahead of the 2026 general elections.

In a phone interview, Akech emphasized the importance of verifying voter details at local polling stations and making necessary corrections immediately to avoid missing out on voting.

She reassured citizens that the process is free of charge and encouraged them to report any discrepancies promptly.

Akech also pledged that peace and security will be a priority during the 2026 elections, ensuring a smooth and safe process. She cautioned those considering disruptive actions during the election period, assuring them that security will be guaranteed.
