In a dazzling display, St. Mary Magdalene Girls' Secondary School kicked off the USSSA Lango Zone football tournament with an emphatic 9-0 victory against Apac Seeds Secondary School on Monday, April 7, 2025. The match, held at the Ambalal Primary School Playground, was nothing short of a spectacle, with the St. Mary Magdalene team showcasing their prowess on the field.

From the very first whistle, it was clear that St. Mary Magdalene was determined to make a statement. The team, proudly affiliated with Mentor Schools, wasted no time in establishing their dominance. By the end of the first half, they had already secured a commanding 5-0 lead, leaving the Apac Seeds players and their supporters in disbelief.

As the second half unfolded, St. Mary Magdalene continued their relentless assault on the Apac Seeds goal. The Apac Seeds players, though valiant in their efforts, simply could not keep up with the relentless pace and skill of their opponents.

Leading the charge was the sensational Mary Magdalene Alaro, who proved to be an unstoppable force. Alaro netted an impressive five goals throughout the match, each one more spectacular than the last. Her agility, precision, and tactical awareness left the Apac Seeds defenders scrambling, as she danced around them with ease.
