Dokolo North MP Moses Ogwal Goli Receives Strong Support Ahead of 2026 Elections

Hon. Moses Ogwal Goli, the Member of Parliament for Dokolo North Constituency, has garnered significant backing from local leaders and constituents as he prepares for the 2026 general elections. This support was evident during a recent engagement meeting held at Akwor Tura village, Awiri Parish, Dokolo Sub County.

During the meeting, Ogwal highlighted his contributions to the constituency, including advancements in infrastructure, healthcare, education, and agriculture, which have collectively improved household incomes and reduced poverty levels.

He urged his supporters to avoid political divisions and to unite for the development of the region. Additionally, he acknowledged the delays in reaching some communities and sought forgiveness, emphasizing the importance of reconciliation and unity ahead of the upcoming elections.

Local leaders also voiced their concerns and aspirations. Walter Odongo, the Vice Chairperson LCIII of Dokolo Sub County and Male Councilor of Abenyo Parish, expressed the challenges faced due to inadequate electricity supply, which hampers business activities. He also announced his intention to contest for the position of LCIII Chairperson in the 2026 elections.

Godfrey Orach, the Coordinator for MP Ogwal Goli in Dokolo Sub County, appealed for more localized services and projects that would economically empower the community. Ketty Agal, the Area Councilor of Awiri Parish, echoed this sentiment, requesting economic empowerment initiatives to alleviate poverty.

Joan Ogwal, the Female LCV Councilor of Dokolo Sub County, highlighted a communication gap between the MP and the community, which has affected service delivery. She called for improved communication channels to enhance the effectiveness of development programs.

As the 2026 elections approach, the support for Hon. Moses Ogwal Goli appears to be strengthening, with local leaders and constituents rallying behind his leadership and development agenda.
