Lira City Council Invests Ugx 1 Billion to Aid in the Installation of Street Lights within the City Hub

The revelation was made by Lira City's Public Relations Officer, Robert Okello Ayo on November 11, 2024.

This move is to help curb crimes and other related insecurity aspects in the business hub. 

He further noted that 300m shillings are equally accorded towards repairing the faulty street lights.

Currently, Lira city is rehabilitating and beautifying the tipper stage which will take one billion shillings.

Okello Ayo urged the residents of Lira City to be vigilant and appreciate the development currently being brought by leaders.
