AIDO Network Installs Kings and Queens to Strengthen Cultural Unity

The Global AIDO Royal Network International and its diaspora community have installed new kings and Queens during a cultural event at Toto Royal Villa Palace in Serere District, Uganda.

The installation ceremony attracted dignitaries from Uganda, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, the UK, Germany, South America, and Barbados. Themed "Reconnection of Mother Africa and Her Royal Diaspora," the event aimed to foster cultural unity, business partnerships, and human rights advocacy.

Presiding over the installation, His Royal Highness Dr. Al Haji Albashir Bashir Bukar Mia Macchiama, Emir of Machina (Nigeria), called on the newly installed leaders to uphold their duties and strengthen AIDO globally.

AIDO founder and president Papa Paul Eganda emphasized the organization's mission to unite kingdoms, protect human rights, and promote economic development.

Queen Mother Milly Nabuta, AIDO’s East Africa VP, highlighted efforts to support community projects and traditional institutions.

The ceremony also featured remarks from Lango Cultural Foundation spokesperson Dr. Lori Lawrence Ocen, who commended AIDO’s efforts to unite cultural institutions, including the Lango community.

Among those installed were Chief Kevin Cameroon Husbands Ejaka, H.E. Angela Song (UK), Chief Dr. Nicolas Ventile Otim, Chief Quweku Shaka Zulu (South America), Queen Mother Hon. Harriet Akica, and Lady Eveline Emede.
