Is Hon. Felix Okot Ogong the Right Choice for Another Term in Dokolo South?

Dokolo, Uganda – Hon. Felix Okot Ogong, the Member of Parliament for Dokolo South Constituency, on Monday outlined his achievements and vision for the constituency as he seeks re-election in the 2026 General Elections.

Speaking to NRM leaders and supporters at St. Andrew’s Church of Uganda grounds in Dokolo Town Council, Okot Ogong cited key projects he has supported over the years. These include strengthening faith-based institutions, enhancing healthcare and education, expanding access to clean water, boosting agricultural productivity, and improving road infrastructure.

“I remain committed to the transformation of Dokolo South and believe I have the experience and drive to continue delivering for our people,” Okot said.

He pledged to construct a Health Centre III in Dokolo Town Council and establish a secondary school in Kangai Sub-county to improve access to essential services.

Okot warned against divisive politics, tribalism, and propaganda, stating that such practices threaten development and party unity.

“We must embrace unity and work collectively to transform our communities and strengthen our party,” he emphasized.

Peter Ejabu Ewila, Okot’s political assistant, urged voters to continue trusting the MP, describing him as a competent and visionary leader with a proven track record.

Geoffrey Opio Ekong, NRM chairperson for Dokolo District, assured all aspirants of a transparent and fair primary election. He encouraged voters to avoid favoritism and instead focus on electing leaders with strong leadership credentials.

Jacob Ogwang, the NRM chairperson for Dokolo Town Council and LCI chairperson of Akaidebe Cell, called on the electorate to choose leaders who can drive socio-economic transformation and development across the district.
