Lango Supreme Khadi Urges Muslims to Embrace Ramadan

The Supreme Khadi of Lango Sub-region, Sheikh Yusuf Balinda, has urged Muslims to prioritize fasting during Ramadan to purify their lives and strengthen their faith.
In a phone interview on Tuesday afternoon, Sheikh Balinda emphasized the importance of promoting love, kindness, and unity among Muslims during the holy month.
"This is a period of increasing faith and drawing closer to Allah. Muslims should desist from bad deeds such as backbiting, drinking alcohol, adultery, and eating during the day," Balinda stated.
He also encouraged Muslims to support vulnerable people and foster social harmony within their communities.
Rajab Suleiman Mugeng, the Imam of Asad Mosque in Dokolo Town Council, echoed the call, urging Muslims to promote friendship and togetherness during Ramadan.
