Boda-Boda riders from Dokolo, Amolatar, and Kaberamido districts have raised concerns over poor services offered by Watu Company Limited, citing numerous motorcycle thefts and poor response times from the company’s staff. The complaints were voiced during an engagement meeting held at Dokolo Tourist Hotel on Wednesday afternoon.

Riders from different stages, including Morish Ongora of Olike Stage and Morish Ogwang of Military Stage, expressed frustration over the company's disregard for local leaders during loan collections, delays in addressing stolen motorcycles, and the presence of unidentifiable staff members.

Jacob Engoru, chairperson of Kaberamido’s Boda-Boda Riders Association, further highlighted the rising violence and theft issues in Ochero County, urging the company to resolve these matters before continuing business in the area.

The meeting also involved local authorities like SP Jimmy Ekwang, Deputy Traffic Officer of Dokolo, who called on Watu to provide adequate support for riders involved in accidents, while emphasizing the need for road safety measures.
