Won Nyaci Odur Ebii Appoints Six New Senior Advisors in Office

Lango Paramount Chief has reinstated the old cabinet after council of clan leaders rejecting the new appointment.

In a press statement released on Monday 12, the paramount  chief, Yosam Odur who is locally referred  to as "Won Nyaci" re-appointed the former cabinet ministers under the stewardship of prime minister, James Robert Ajal together with his Deputy Prime Ministers; Levi Okodi Macpio, Joe Olang and Tom Odur Anang.

In a press briefing held at Palms Garden, lira city West division, the spokesperson of Lango Cultural Foundation, Jacob Ocen said the Won Nyaci yaci Odur Ebii came out with this decision after the council of clan leaders in their meeting held on 29/01/2024 denounced to approval of the new cabinet ministers he (Odur Ebii) had earlier appointed. 

According to Ocen, the re instated cabinet ministers will not be liable to the approval of the council of clan leaders since they were already approved before.

He also announced the appointment of six new senior advisors in the office of Won Nyaci and cabinet, of which as all are leaders of different clans locally known as Owitong.

The newly appointed advisors are Frederick Ogwal Oyee, Dr Laury Lawrence Ocen, Franchise Xavier Abaca and Eng Richard Enen.

Others include Alex Ogwal and Paul Ojok.

Ocen however confirmed that the won Nyaci shall not reinstate the newly fired members of the electoral commision, as he looks forward to appointing new members of the electoral commission to handle the election of the new Won Nyaci due to take place on November 1, 2024.
