Anthony Olobo Odur Joins Race for Apac LCV Chairperson 2026

Anthony Olobo Odur, son of His Highness Muzee Yosam Odur Ebii, has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of LCV Chairperson for Apac District in the upcoming 2026 elections.
A native of Apac and a lifelong servant of the people, Olobo says his campaign is driven by conviction, experience, and a strong vision for truth, justice, and development.
Having endured imprisonment, exile, and the long road to freedom, he emphasized that true leadership is founded on good governance, constitutionalism, and service above self.
"My manifesto is not merely a list of promises it is a solemn covenant between myself and the people of Apac", Olobo Odur stated.
He envisions a peaceful, united, and self-reliant Apac District where every citizen enjoys equal opportunity, justice, and sustainable development.
If elected, he pledges to lead with transparency, inclusiveness, and accountability, guided by the principles of human rights, the rule of law, and community-driven development.
Olobo Odur is expected to face off in the NRM primaries against Ambrose Agec, son of the former Apac NRM Chairperson Sam Opio Oceng, and the current LCV Chairperson Hon. Odongo Asanti.
