In their tournament opener, St. Mary's Magdalene faced off against Bishop Tarantino College and dominated the match with a staggering 13-0 victory. The standout player of the day, Mercy Alaro, continued her impressive form from friendly matches, scoring an incredible 7 goals throughout the day. Her performance was nothing short of spectacular, with her tally split between the two games: 4 goals against Bishop Tarantino College and 3 against Top Star SS.

The scoring frenzy against Bishop Tarantino College was a true team effort. Alongside Alaro, Sumaya Akanya also found the back of the net, contributing 4 goals to the scoreline.
