King of Kings SS Head Coach Denies Using Ineligible players

Peter Erem Erina, the head Coach king of Kings Secondary School based in Amolatar District has denied accusations levied on him over the use of ineligible players and alternation of photo Album in the Uganda Secondary School Sports Association at the Zonal level.
Erem was responding to a letter addressed to him on Friday 19th April,2024. The letter was signed by the Chief Executive Officer of the Uganda Secondary School Sports Association, Mr. Amaria Bosco .
According to the letter, King of Kings Secondary School in Amolatar district was disqualified from the USSSA National football Boys Championship 2024.
The Associations highlighted three keys areas that led to the disqualification King of kings that were coupled with reasons including; Failure to meet Athlete Quotas, Tampering with official documentations and Qualifying with illegible Athletes.
It is upon this background that King of kings were later disqualified with it's slot withdrawn.
The matter has since been referred to the Award and Sanctions Committee under the Ministry of Education and Sports for further investigations and appropriate action.
However, Head Coach Peter Erem Erina described the action taken against them as self- centred interest by some people in the region in favour of other Schools.
He highlighted the variations in the number of players used at Zonal level saying he was shocked to hear the controversial news after all the struggles made to go through to National Championship.
