THREE CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES RECEIVED WHEELCHAIRS

The hand over ceremony held on Monday 16th /December 2024 at Lira District Chambers Main Hall has registered a total of 3 new wheelchairs ranging from 700 UGX to 1 million UGX handed over to Lira District.

Ogwal Patrick, the representative of people with disabilities in Lira District stated that the wheel chairs were initiated by Catalema Foundation sponsored by bank of Uganda.

He also said the wheel chairs donated to these children will ease their transport.

The assistant CAO Lira District, lmat Hellen Anyango appreciated the catalema Foundation for their support towards the 3 children with disabilities.

Hon RCM Okello Orik(LC 5) Lira District stated that all the children with disabilities within Lira District should be taken to various schools where they can attain high quality education.He concluded that the wheelchairs should be perfectly maintained.

Dupty RDC lmat Molly Abang Kia concluded by appreciating Catalema Foundation and Bank of Uganda as well for their huge support towards the 3 children with disabilities.
