OYAM: 37 year old Loro resident murders sister in Law, commits suicide
It's alleged that on the 8th April 2024 at around 0430 hours Mr Oyat registered to Loro police station a case of suspected murder of his daughter-in-law Apolo aged 39 yrs old by an unknown person.
The territorial police in Oyam District have been left in dismay following suspected murder of Sarah Apolo, and alleged suicide of Allan Okello.
This incidence took place in Anyalo cell, Eastern ward in Loro Town Council.

It's alleged that on the 8th April 2024 at around 0430 hours Mr Oyat registered to Loro police station a case of suspected murder of his daughter-in-law Sarah Apolo aged 39 yrs old by an unknown person.
SP Patrick Jimmy Okema spokesperson North Kyoga Regional Police confirmed the incident noting that a team of police officers visited the scene and got information that revealed that the deceased had a domestic misunderstanding with the brother-in-law identified as Okello Allan 37 yrs old, alleging that Sarah was responsible for the divorce of his wife Robinah.
Later Oyat Patrick led the police to the home of Okello Allan who was discovered hanged on a rope, dead in his house.
Okema said both bodies were later picked and conveyed to Anyeke Health IV pending postmortem.
He however called for calmness from both relatives of the deceased to allow police conduct further findings.
