LIRA CITY, UGANDA – The Lira City USSSA ball games 1 are heating up as Mentor Secondary School, Dr. Obote College (DOC), and Lira City Comprehensive School all showcase their skills, racking up maximum points in the early stages of the tournament. As Day Three approaches, a couple of games are on card at Erute Primary School and Anai Primary School Playgrounds.

Defending champions Mentor SS have emerged as the team to beat in Group A, currently sitting at the top with 6 points after winning their first two matches. Their latest victory came in a thrilling encounter against a spirited King James Comprehensive School, where they showcased their tactical prowess and teamwork. 

In Group B, Faith Secondary School leads the pack with an impressive 7 points, despite a slight hiccup in their campaign—a draw against Top Star SS. 

Meanwhile, Group C is being dominated by Lira City Comprehensive School, who have also secured 6 points from their first two games. 

DOC, the host school for this year's Lango Zonal level, is also making waves, having won both of their initial games and gathering 6 points. Their Zonal level hosting rights seem to be paying off, as they continue to rally support from OBs and local fans.
