Police in Kaabong District are hunting for the suspected armed Karamojong warriors who raided Komuria west trading center and killed one man on the spot.
The assailants also robbed an unspecified amount of money from a bar belonging to Abraham Longoli.
It is alleged that on 04/01/2024 at around 09:00PM, unidentified armed warriors wearing police uniform started shooting randomly at people who were at the trading center killing Okidi Damian on spot and injuring two other persons.
Michael Longole, the Mt. Moroto Regional Police Spokesperson confirmed the incident asserting that a team of detectives visited the scene and recorded statements.
He said that the Police Dog was introduced to the scene and lost track because the scene of crime was contaminated by the first responders.
