USSSA Lango Zone: Acaba and Magdalene Set for Final Rematch

St. Mary Magdalene, the host school and representative of Lira City, showcased their strength by defeating Ogur Secondary School with a commanding score of 6-0 in the semi-finals. Meanwhile, Acaba Secondary School, the defending champions from Oyam District, secured their spot in the final by beating Adwari Secondary School 2-0.

Both teams have been impressive throughout the tournament, winning all their matches. Last year, Acaba edged out St. Mary Magdalene 1-0 in the final held in Apac Municipality. As they meet again, the question remains: will history repeat itself, or will St. Mary Magdalene claim victory this time?

In the boys' semi-finals, Wisdom High School triumphed over Lira Town College with a score of 2-0, while Mentor SS also won 2-0 against Alemere Comprehensive. The stage is set for an exciting conclusion to the tournament as Mentor SS takes on Wisdom High School in the boys' final at 3pm.
